Church of
Spiritual Light was co-founded by David Essel
and Renee Bledsoe. Both David and Renee are
ordained clergy and ministers in the Order of
the Melchezidek Priesthood and Adept initiates
in the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Light.
Empowered and inspired by deep gratitude for the
Light of God, great respect for Mother Earth and
absolute love for humankind, David and Renee
have created a church that celebrates all these
things and honors all our relations.
Church of Spiritual Light creates a sacred space
where anyone can connect to divinity, to the
heart and soul of the self, to each other and
all that is from exactly where we are at on the
map of consciousness.

the past 24 years, David has dedicated his life
to assisting thousands of people to see their

divinity. His study of both
Christianity and Buddhism led him to a personal
interview with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of
Transcendental Meditation, that transformed his
life both personally and professionally. Over
the past 8 years, David has led church services
for organizations such as Unity Church and The
Church of Religious Science. It

 Renee
Bledsoe is a soul coach, addiction counselor and
web designer. She is the founder of Addiction
Alchemy™, a self-help addiction and life
recovery system based on the Medicine Wheel and Kabbalah. Renee is a Kabbalist, and a Certified
Teacher and 2nd Step Ritual Master in the
tradition of the
Rocky Mountain Mystery School and an initiated
shamanic practitioner. She is also a
Reiki Master/Teacher. Renee has just completed
her first book, 101 Ways To Raise Your
Vibration and is now working on two
other books (working titles), Surviving
The Lie: A Sacred Journey to Healing Through
Addiction And Codependency and
Addiction Alchemy: A Portal to the World Beyond
Sobriety.
Renee's passion is to help create
synergistic communities which will raise the bar
on human potential, through healing work,

 Joanna
Salerno is a healer, spiritual guide/director
and body worker. She hold certification in
Spiritual Direction and is a graduate of St.
Thomas University in Miami Florida. She is also
a Licensed Massage Therapist and Nationally
certified with NCTMB. She is a Healing Touch
practitioner completing all levels of education
offered from Healing Touch International and
specializes in bringing Healing Touch and
Spiritual Direction together in her private
practice. In 1997 she developed and led the
Healing Prayer Ministry at St Maurice Catholic
Church in Ft Lauderdale, Fl until she moved
along with her family to Sanibel, Fl in 2000.
She has studied and trained with Upledger
Institute and Barbara Brennan. Joanna is an
ordained minister in the Universal Brotherhood
and can perform all ministerial duties including
weddings and other ceremonies. Her company,
Sacred Listening-Sacred Touch is located in Fort
