CHURCH OF SPIRITUAL LIGHT ANNOUNCES OPENING
SERVICES
FORT MYERS, FL- April 9, 2008 - We are pleased
to announce the opening of Church of Spiritual
Light, a new church that will have it's first
service on Sunday, April 13, 2008 from 10-11 am.
The services will be hosted at Center To Self
Reliance in Fort Myers, Florida. All are
welcome.
Church of Spiritual Light,
co-founded by David Essel and Renee Bledsoe,
is an all faith, spiritual community that was
created to provide a place where people who wish
to connect with the divinity within themselves,
within others and All That Is can gather
together and celebrate the sacredness of life
through pure spiritual connection, meditation,
ritual, prayer and song.
The Sunday Service is led by David Essel, Renee
Bledsoe and Joanna Salerno. There will be guest
speakers and musicians from time to time, as
well as active participation from a different
member of the community each week. This promises
to be a joyful, fun, inspiring, sacred and
powerful healing and empowerment ceremony.
Church of Spiritual Light honors the tenants of
all faith, inter-spirituality and
inter-denominational gatherings in a worship
setting that goes beyond mere religious
tolerance and “new age” eclecticism. The
exploration of any and all religions and
individual pathways that lead to deep spiritual
connections are encouraged and honored. Numerous
texts, both sacred and "secular", ancient and
modern are drawn upon. The contribution of
diverse religions and philosophies are
recognized for the energies they anchor on the
planet and embed into the mass consciousness.
Rituals and practices from around the world are
integrated into the ceremonies.
As the world's ability to mass communicate has
increased, more and more people are experiencing
higher consciousness, spiritual awakenings and
greater levels of awareness than ever before. As
Ekhart Tolle says, "Humanity now, perhaps more
than in any previous time, has an opportunity to
create a new, saner, more loving world. This
will involve a radical inner leap from the
current egoic consciousness to an entirely new
one."
Church of Spiritual Light was created to foster
and support the continuation of this process in
our human evolution through the universal powers
of Love and Compassion.
