Divine Dance Playlists

Many people are curious about the type of music that is played at a trance dance, as opposed to a club or some other venue. The answer is that it isn't necessarily different at all. Music is music, and danceable music can be played in any setting. Strong drumming and differing rhythmical scenarios, however, play a key role in driving the body toward motion. Additionally, it is important to set the intention for the dance and the energy of the space consciously and conscientiously.  Something of special note when constructing a trance dance playlist is to be sensitive to the tempo, the beat and the overall ambient feel of the song and how the songs link together. It is my suggestion to paint a picture or tell a story with the rhythms and the tempos of the music.
